Who runs this — and how is it free?
Converter Flow is built and run by one independent developer, based in the Netherlands. Compute-heavy conversions cost real money, so the free tier has honest limits — they're what keep the server bill bounded, not a bait-and-switch.
The funding plan is simple: the free tier stays free, and upcoming Pro and API plans will carry the infrastructure costs. No ads. Your files are not the product — they're processed automatically, never opened by a person, and deleted within 24 hours (see the Privacy Policy).
Built for Heavy Files: Zero Bottlenecks
Legacy converters route your files through their web servers before processing, causing massive 504 timeouts on large Video and CAD files.
We bypass the server entirely. Your browser connects directly to our secure cloud storage via pre-signed links. Our isolated queue workers pick up the job, process it, and deliver it back to you.
The result? No artificial timeouts, no server bottleneck, and lightning-fast ingress for massive files. Our API only orchestrates the job; it never touches your data.
