When Do You Need to Convert JPG to PDF?
Converting JPG to PDF is what you do when a photograph has to become a document. What Happens When You Convert JPG to PDF
Each JPG is embedded into a PDF page sized to the image, so nothing is resampled and the picture in the PDF is exactly the picture you started with. Several images sent together become one PDF with one image per page, in the order they were given. The important thing to understand is that the result is a picture of a document rather than a document. There is no text layer, so the words in a photographed page cannot be searched, selected or copied. That requires OCR, which this converter does not perform.
Worth knowing before you convert
Photographs of documents are often larger than they need to be. A 12 megapixel phone image of one A4 page can produce a PDF of several megabytes, which some upload forms reject. Reducing the image size before converting usually solves it.
